Summary

Step Up was a 12 week project working with a small group of Year 6 students from Whiterock Primary School during their transition into Paignton Community and Sports Academy. We worked with them for 6 weeks at their primary and then for 6 weeks during their start at secondary school.

We used 3D drama production and live broadcasting including jingle-making and interactions with the new Year 6s at their primary through a live online show from their secondary school.

Aims

• To develop the students confidence facing transition into secondary
• To help students express their emotions about the challenges they faced
