bespoke web design
So you want a website! Why?
It may seem facetious but it's worth sitting down with your colleagues and telling them why you want a website.
What's this site you want going to do? What are the results you want from it? Do you have any outcomes you'd like to see?
If you begin to think about these questions then, when we talk, we can start to contemplate what technologies we need to use to ensure your website does what you want.
I offer domain purchase, hosting and domain related email provision at very competitive rates. I also provide full FTP access to your site and an email user control panel.
I can provide a comprehensive CMS (Content Management System) that enables you to make alterations to your site's content. For a more complex CMS we can discuss using OpenCart (e-commerce) or WordPress.
RWD (Responsive Web Design)
With the many media devices now in use it is important you decide if you want your site built so it will 'work' on a mobile, a tablet/i-pad and a desktop. By using recent developments in web design we can render the site's content in different ways so it remains legible on each respective device. A site may look quite different depending upon the platform you are viewing it on.
Search Engine Optimisation or how to make your site visible to search engines. Here's what the wiki says:
Optimizing a website may involve editing its content, HTML and associated coding to both increase its relevance to specific keywords and to remove barriers to the indexing activities of search engines. Promoting a site to increase the number of backlinks, or inbound links, is another SEO tactic.
Not every site needs to be optimised but a well built site will evince elements of SEO whether they are needed or not. SEO is something we can discuss at length. Good SEO may include use of social media, geographic specificty of your good or service, identifying keywords and phrases with which to populate content, the development of analytic tools to further develop your site's visibilty, etc...
Electronic payment always preferred. Details by invoice.

As a self-taught web designer I've been building sites since 2004. Before that I spectacularly failed to make a film about Burning Man, spent five years lobbying both Conservative and Labour administrations to improve access to treament for HIV/AIDS and cancer patients, and developed an intimate knowledge of London's streets as a courier and controller.
Admist this I acquired a couple of social science degrees, operated a rowdy indy record label, wrote arts reviews and travelled extensively. I tend a small, sub-tropical garden and use photography in the making of my own art.
