University College London Hospital London 2005
To commemorate the opening of the new University College London Hospital on Euston Road, London Stone Conservation was commissioned by the NHS Trust to make several hand-carved memorial plaques.
The first plaque commemorates the official opening by the Queen in 2005.
The second plaque commemorates the founding site of the Middlesex Hospital (the original had closed, and then re-opened as the New Middlesex Hospital, part of UCLH)
The third plaque was commissioned to commemorate the many donors, private and public, who pledged funds for the building of the new UCLH.
