Repair of architectural ornament detail
RAC Club
Located on Pall Mall, one of London’s finest streets, the front main entrance of this private members’ club had suffered loss to its ornate embellishment.
Due to the prominent position of the affected ornament and the fact that the club had to remain open for business, the work was carried out in the most traditional way, by hand, without the use of electric drills or grinders.
The result is in keeping with the original intention of the stonework and makes for an honest high-quality repair, whilst not drawing unwarranted attention.
