Highgate Cemetery, Dow Memorial 2011

Structurally unsound condition prior to treatment, due to root and other vegetative invasion facilitating water ingress.

The memorial was disassembled in order to assess the extent of damage to the overall structure. Re-working of brick interior; installation of stainless steel fixings to marble cladding; grouting of joints to further strengthen overall structure and discourage renewed invasion by surrounding flora.
